This plaque was placed at this corner in1996. The  annual reunion of the Borror Family was the reason for the date. The original homestead of Magdalene Strader Borror the Widow of Absalom Borror was here in Franklin County. She settled here in 1809-1811. As the region prospered, a school, store, several churches were built to meet the needs of the growing families. Borror's Corners was on many early maps and was a focal point for over a 100 years in the area.
Most of the residents were farmers, but the community also produced ministers, doctors, layers, teachers, scientists, and businessmen who continue to influence the life in central Ohio. Borror's Corners is located at the corner of
Rt. 665 and Rt. 104
