The picture above is not one but 4 pictures. Some 11 or 12 years (about 1990) ago the owner of "Jim Carroll
Photography" (419 885-3716) in Sylvania, Ohio and I went to Gettysburg to take many pictures of
me dressed as Abraham Lincoln. This day we spent almost 4 hours on Little Round top. Jim took
pictures for almost every tourist with their cameras that day. It was a special day for us both. Many of
his pictures have been used on this web site over the years. The Four Pictures were taken from a tripod.
Now down to this picture, First I scanned each picture using my HP Scan Jet 5300C. I used the default
setting 150 dpi. Next I loaded each picture into ADOBE PHOTO DELUXE BUSINESS EDITION 1.1
and reduced the size to 5" high. One at a time after I reduced the size, I copied the pictures from there
using the copy and paste feature into MICROSOFT IMAGE COMPOSER 1.5. Several attempts were
needed to get each picture just right. Then many attempts were needed to get the desired light and dark
Shades in each picture (I used Adobe for that). After each picture was almost perfect, I used the Paint
tools in Image Composer to merge the pictures together. The spray tool and smudge tool did the trick.

This picture was taken 7-3-06 with a new Cannon Power Shot A620. The Camera and its software did all the work in less than 5 minutes.
